Our Master Designer:

Axel, the founder of Beach Street Blooms Florist in Daytona Beach, is intrigued by design. He pursued his passion by attending a design school in New York, majoring in floristry, becoming a floral master with a minor in interior and exterior design and landscapes. His path started after moving to Florida to pursue his passion. He apprenticed florists, and then started with a small design studio of his own, which has grown into a full-fledged florist and events company in the present times. Axel is an award-winning designer specializing in contemporary and cutting edge designs, known for their simplicity with clean and elegant lines. Mr. Smith's philosophy is to create arrangements as a statement art. The individuals that select his pieces not only recognize the value of the designs, but they also appreciate the awe-inspiring effect of his work. He is one of the few designers that coordinated “Face the Music” an international festival in Daytona Beach which include the likes of the London Symphony Orchestra, Chris Botti and Celtic Crossroads. He’s coordinated numerous weddings and events in and around Volusia, Flagler, Orange and Seminole counties. All of Axels’ events have been revered successes, remembered both far and wide. They start with an idea, mood colors and interpreting specific desires of his clients, in turn he creates the beautiful designs that you see here.
